My Students
My students are a diverse group of learners who all have different learning styles and needs. We are a FAMILY and I have been with these students for several years. We are 21st century learners who need flexible seating options that will meet our classroom needs. While we learn in small groups, my students need to be able to choose their most comfortable seating arrangement that will enhance their personal learning experience. My students are getting older, which means getting bigger and taller. Some of the flexible seating options in my classroom no longer fit their needs.
My Project
Flexible seating was used in my classroom last year. While the students loved having the options to choose which seating best met their needs on a particular day the resources were few.
My students need new flexible seating options to choose from including taller wobble chairs, a cozy chair for reading, and a soft foam stool.
I serve my students for several years. As they are getting older their needs are changing as well as their interest. My students will be so excited to enter my classroom for the new school year and see the new options they have to choose from.
