Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The project will help students build EMPTAHY, communication, social connectedness, teamwork, and many other social-emotional aspects. It will also help promote a deeper understanding and empathy for what is going on in our world! The Xbox Series S will be used during a school festival where people will be able to rent it for an amount of time. All acquired proceeds from the festival will be donated to various charity causes that promote Anti-Bullying strategies in the school!

The Xbox Series S serves as a powerful tool for promoting the development of social skills among high school students with autism.

Through its wide array of gaming experiences and features, my students will foster social interaction in a controlled and supportive environment.

Firstly, multiplayer games on this platform allow students to engage with their peers in collaborative or competitive scenarios, encouraging communication, teamwork, and cooperation. These interactions provide invaluable opportunities for practicing conversational skills, turn-taking, and problem-solving, which are essential components of social development.

Moreover, the Xbox Series S offers online gaming communities and voice chat features, enabling students to connect with others who share their gaming interests. Students can also use the Xbox to search about the Lunar New Year and Chinese New Year.

Students will use the Xbox gaming system to acquire social strategies to share with others. Students will also be able to play games that teach empathy.
