it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
With new equipment, students can use more advanced manufacturing methods to create more creative and ambitious STEM projects to learn from. This new set of milling tools will accommodate rookies and give every student the chance to help with manufacturing. We have many new people interested in joining our team. By having more resources, we will be able to provide them all with an in-depth learning experience.
We will work as a team, meeting challenges creatively and collaboratively, all while using STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) related skills.
Perhaps more importantly than the hands-on experience, will be the non-technology skills we will develop - the leadership, problem solving, and everyday life skills that will prepare us for our futures.
At the end of the day, it will be more than building robots, and more than building our skills; it will be about sharing our story. Sharing what we are capable of doing allows us to inspire others in our community that by working together, we solve problems and build great things! We will apply engineering, science, math, and technology to solve complex, open-ended problems in a real-world context, all while developing highly transferable skills in collaboration, communication, and critical thinking, which are relevant for STEM careers. Please help provide resources that can help us become the next generation of STEM professionals. We would be actively promoting STEM within our community starting in our own high school.
