This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am setting up a new 4th and 5th grade English Language Development classroom for the upcoming school year. I am hoping to get all the essentials I will need to support my students in their learning environment.

I will use the art supplies will help the students engage in the curriculum through creative response and reflection to their learning.

Collaborative art projects give the students opportunities to actively use their new language with each other.

The books will enhance a small classroom library where students can read independently. These books are high interest and appropriate reading levels for elementary English learners.
