My Project
My students are the amazing eight. As their teacher, I want to create a hands-on learning environment where they can learn and grow. I also want to add new materials to our Reggio-inspired dramatic play center. My students are autistic, and a structured play environment can provide a sense of predictability and security for children with ASD, reducing anxiety and promoting comfort.
Interacting with materials like the ironing board and iron, cleaning set, and doll house allows my students to expand their vocabulary and improve their language skills by using language relevant to their role-playing scenarios.
My new learning center will be a new, improved place where they can explore, engage, and develop their creativity skills.
