My Project

My middle school students love the challenge! However, with our schedule changes recently, students are having difficulty finding success in the piano curriculum method that was traditionally used in the music program.

I only see students once every six days so I would like to use a curriculum that is not only sequential, but engaging in it's content and allows students to feel success!

Changing the curriculum method to the Premier Piano Course will allow my students the ability to access the piano concepts in a sequential pattern that is easier for students to grasp in a shorter period of time. This method also has lots of music that is more fun and recognizable for the students to play. Finally, the new curriculum will help me differentiate for student who may need to move at a slower or at a quicker pace, as there are other supplemental materials that students can work on at their own pace.

Mrs. Giammattei will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by August 2.
