This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work for a district that has very unique needs. The majority of my students are English Language Learners and are living at or below the poverty level. The majority of my students come in performing well below grade level and being able to provide small group instruction to meet their individual needs is critical. I have taught in the district for the past 10 years and we are always in last place for per pupil spending. Kindergarten is academically rigorous but it should still be fun. We have a new curriculum this year and my students need to practice new skills with all kinds of learning centers! Help them be successful!
