New Crayons and Markers will Help us be Writers!

Help me give my students new crayons and markers to help them continue to create their own books. After creating their writing pieces we will be able to use the laminating sheets to laminate their work to last.

My Students

I teach kindergarten students that come from a diverse background. I work in a magnet school so my students come from urban and suburban homes.

Although they are all coming from a variety of backgrounds, they all come to school eager to learn and explore all that they can together.

My goal, as their teacher, is to help them learn and grow as much as they can and to prepare them for the real world by teaching them the skills they will need to be successful students throughout their education.

My Project

My kindergarten students work hard to create books during writers workshop. They are working on becoming writers and illustrators. They have been working hard to add lots of details to their pictures.

My students can use new crayons and markers to help make their illustrations come to life.

My students also love to preserve their work so I am also requesting laminating sheets so we can continue to laminate their work into books for them and their families to cherish forever. Help me turn my kindergarten kids into writers and illustrators that love and enjoy creating books with detailed and colorful illustrations.
