My Project

Good day everyone.

My name is Grace Jean-Baptiste and I am a recent hire of SYOA located in NJ.

As a newly hired counselor straight out of college, my new position has a caseload of 400 something students from PreK to 8th grade.

I hope that coming to donors choose can help me with SEL toys, books and technology because I feel these will help with my students but also budget because coming out of pocket can be costly and I want my students to have tools available to help them with decompression, calm mind and lastly is able to communicate their feelings in age appropriate ways to get them ready for the world.

I would hope this option will be helpful. Once again, thanks to anyone reading my essay and can be so kind as to donate to my cause to help a first time school counselor out and my new students.
