This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach 2nd grade at a wonderful elementary school full of amazing students! My class struggles with the foundations such as reading and writing but I always see them trying their best every single day. I see how much work and effort they put into the classwork: they never give up. I know they are amazing because they are the true definition of perseverance.
My Project
My classroom is full of colorful decorations, student work and inviting posters. However, we are missing the essentials required for a comfortable learning environment.
Our chairs are several years old and we are in desperate need of new stable chairs where the students can enjoy sitting for long periods of time.
The classroom chairs I currently have have a variety of problems. Some chairs are split down the middle others are loosing screws. There is no extra money for classroom chairs as our school money is used for technology. Please help my students be comfy in our classroom.
