Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are now in the winter months and it will be getting chilly.

My students would need a warm sweatshirt or sweatpants to wear under their jacket.

Many only come to school with only a t-shirt and light jacket. These sweatshirts, socks, and sweatpants will keep them warm all day. The shampoo is needed because some students do not take daily showers. I will put them in little bottles to take home. I will also put the detergent in baggies for parents to pick up when I dismiss the students at the end of the day. I always give to my students so it will be a pleasant surprise to give detergent pods to the parents to keep the kids coming to school in clean clothes.

Looking forward with a positive attitude has made a huge difference in my classroom!
