My Project

Over the summer, I’ve been moving into my new classroom where I’ll be teaching a 2nd and 3rd-grade split. The walls are blank white. Students love walking into a happy, colorful classroom! The “Better Than Paper” in purple, teal, and lime green will add just the right amount of color as a backdrop to our anchor charts and posters for writing, reading, math, science, and social studies. This special type of bulletin board paper is easy to cut, staple, hang, and even has a write-and-wipe surface for dry-erase pens.

Learning how to tell time on an analog clock is a critical skill for 2nd and 3rd graders.

The clock I’ve used for the past 8 years is no longer working. This colorful clock features labeled hour and minute hands so students can learn to distinguish between their lengths. The clock also labels the minutes as you skip count around by 5s. These labels are helpful for all students learning to tell time but are especially helpful for those students with learning disabilities and IEPs in math.
