This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I absolutely adore my students' boundless curiosity and their enthusiasm for hands-on learning. They thrive on exploration and discovery, and it's truly inspiring to witness their excitement as they engage with scientific concepts in tangible ways. The inflated globe and flashlight are needed for explaining Earth raying coming in different angles. Students make posters in groups, so they need colorful pencils and markers to design their work. Another design that we use is the DNA helix, we work on mutation and genes with 8th grades DNA model will be a best model to use in this class. With the glue guns and the ice-cream sticks we build the strongest bridge in Force and Motion chapter. These tools will allow them to delve deeper into the subject matter, conduct experiments, and make real-world connections, fostering a deeper understanding of scientific principles. My primary goal for this project is to create an environment where students feel empowered to explore, question, and experiment freely, ultimately cultivating their critical thinking skills and passion for learning. What sets my students apart is their genuine eagerness to delve into scientific inquiry and their willingness to embrace challenges with open minds. Their diverse perspectives and unique approaches to problem-solving enrich our classroom community and inspire me as an educator every single day.
