This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Next year I will be in a new classroom teaching financial literacy to 3rd-6th graders. Some of the requested supplies are essential classroom supplies, like pencils and crayons, while others help set up the space, like the rug and organizational envelopes. I also requested games for days that students have earned free time.

Most importantly, I requested financial literacy books.

At this age, all subjects should be linked with literacy. I intend on finding and reading many financial literacy books to the kids before diving deeper into their respective topics.

I would like to make learning about money approachable, enjoyable, and memorable.
