Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our classroom we use our carpet many times a day. The students engage in small group and whole activities. On the carpet they listen to stories, share stories and collaborate in partner work.
Our classroom carpet creates a space for both fun and engaging activities.
A new larger carpet for our classroom will allow all my students to have a welcoming space learn. It will be a wonderful spot to read their favorite SkippyJon Jones books. The carpet will also be a great space for me to lead my daily intervention groups.
