Teaching virtually has its own challenges for an adult. Now imagine learning virtually for 6 and 7 year old English language learners. Having a document reader will help my 2nd graders during virtual lessons. These materials will help them become more engage in our read alouds. At this time, I am holding text up to my laptop camera. Pictures are small, text is small and interest gets lost easily. I want to help my students feel as if they are sitting in front of our books. I want them to get lost in our texts. I want them to immerse themselves in Scholastic Readers and Science Digest.
