My Students

My students are an inspiration to one another. They come to school each day ready to learn and share everything about themselves. We spend 5-10 minutes every morning "reflecting." We reflect on anything and everything about our learning! Many students want to share out math experiences outside of school. Some students love to share books they are reading. They are always looking for ways to get a smile from their peers.

I think teachers yearn to make a positive influence on their students but, also that students yearn to make a positive influence on their teachers.

I'd love to continue making that difference by putting myself out there to ask for materials for my classroom.

My Project

Please help inspire a love of reading by adding new and exciting chapter books to the classroom collection. Having these updated books to read and explore during guided reading will help promote healthy reading habits while also providing the eye opening wonderment of the exciting different worlds that books open up to young readers.

These amazing titles will bring students together to talk, not only about their reading, but also about themselves.

We make connections with the text in so many ways and it's wonderful to see and hear students open up about their learning and experiences in school and outside of the school.
