My Project

There are some really great new books out there. I would like my students to have the latest and greatest books available to them.

When students read these books, they’ll benefit in ways you might not think of right away:

**reading activates their mind and imagination

**they’re reading and not staring at screens

**they’re learning! Whether it’s new vocabulary or new ideas, it’s stretching their brains in new ways!

**for some students with rough home lives, it can be an escape for them.

**the students’ reading fluency improves the more they read; their comprehension improves.

**they develop a love of reading that can last their entire lives.
