Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Oprah Winfrey once said, "Books showed me there were possibilities in life, that there were actually people like me living in a world I could not only aspire to but attain. Reading gave me hope. For me, it was the open door.” Please consider helping my students open their doors to countless adventures by reading a wonderful book. My students enjoy reading and are always excited when a new book is added to our library.

As a new teacher who is building her classroom library, I have noticed how much the students have developed a love for reading.

These books will make a positive impact on my student's passion for reading in numerous ways. The books will allow them to travel the world and will help those students who are still developing a love for literacy. Every one of my students is different and I would love to expand the library to reach each of their needs and interest. I truly believe that a book is a gift that you can open again and again. I would love to give this gift to my students.
