My 2nd grade students are eager learners. They love to read and are always asking for current and popular books to read! I would love to provide my students with some series books to help them fall in love with reading and to help them stay engaged! Many of my students are below grade level, so I would need new books to help meet their wants and needs!
My goal is to build a love for reading in my classroom.
Surrounding my students with new books will help open their minds and grow their reading skills! My students will be able to choose books to read that interest them!
The supplies will be used during small group instruction. The use of clipboards and dry erase boards will be an excellent tool for students to use during small group settings. They will help hold students accountable for their work and will also provide students with a different way to present their work or responses that adheres to their needs.
