This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This set of books for my middle school students is specifically chosen to engage their creativity and learning while they are reading about friendships, self- confidence, and kindness. There are also materials chosen to provide fun rewards for students to track active reading to increase their engagement with the reading process. These supplies will help me to fill my new reading center to increase active reading in the classroom as well as for reading at home.
My students are typical middle school students that like to read books that feature characters who are similar to themselves.
They love to be creative and expressive, each in their own way.
