Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach at a local neighborhood school in Memphis, TN. My students have a passion for learning and I would like to continue to motivate them using BOOKS! I have a strong group of CRTICIAL THINKING, EMPATHY GIVING, AND HARD WORKING scholars. I would like to introduce them to so many more world concepts: Different Countries/Culture, Shakespeare, Politics and Historical events just to name a few.

Therefore, I need your help building my classroom library.

Each year, I have the hope of instilling or continuing to build a passion for books in my students, but we need your help. Classroom Libraries are costly and we are asking that you be apart of our classroom room learning and mind building by helping us purchase books. :-)

My Project

The books that you purchase from our project will go to mind enhancement and knowledge enrichment while our students are at home. We have every grand topic you can find in this collection ranging from The holocaust to Michelle Obama.

Children should have the opportunity to learn about new topics through BOOKS and explore all that the world has to offer through learning.

Reading a new book does that for children. Please help enrich Ms. Anthony's 3rd graders by donating to our book project. These books will be used during DEAR (drop everything and read) time as well as throughout the day by Ms. Anthony and students. We will use them as curriculum builders to add on to the Reading and Social Studies Standards we are already teaching.
