This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The start of the 2022-23 school year is already approaching! We are requesting supplies that will help all students have the necessary materials they need to be successful. The class set of fat crayons will be given to each student. Over the years I have noticed that the first graders press down too hard on regular crayons, thus breaking and making it susceptible to getting thrown away, so I’m hoping the fatter crayons will last longer. Pencil boxes will be used for kids to store their materials in their desks. I’m a big proponent of teaching organization in from from the get go, and these materials will assist them in creating good habits. The anti viral tissues will help us stay healthy.
