My Project
This year we are opening a Newcomer program for students who have been in the U.S. for less than three years. Aside from ice breakers and typical classroom routines, I want to enforce learning the English language and fostering friendships with board game days. It's a joy to see students laugh and support each other in playing a game together.
Additionally, with the use of a insta camera, students will post their picture near their home country as well as have turns using our classroom camera to capture and post memories of our learning and sharing.
Ah, the clock. Yes, many of our students are new to our school and will be learning a new bell schedule, rotations within my classroom, and thinking about lunchtime and release. What better than a clock they can read!
