New Basketball Uniforms

My Students

The students at my school come from an underprivileged neighborhood where one hundred percent of them receive free or reduced-price lunch. Violence and negligence are daily occurrences in our neighborhood, yet they come to school each day determined to succeed. My students do not have much, and our athletic programs have even less. My players come to practice every day and display resilience and an attitude to succeed. They inspire me each and every day to push them harder toward their dreams. Your help will make our players feel good and represent our school well when we travel to and compete against, the schools in our league!

My Project

Our boys' basketball team, coming off a state playoff berth, is looking forward to wearing new uniforms for the coming season. We are asking for new away uniforms as well as travel bags.

Being able to provide the students with the appropriate materials will help take some stress away from the families who would otherwise not be able to provide these items for their families.

Their new uniforms will be used to play in games. Providing the team with new uniforms will give the team a sense of pride in themselves. The team will all have brand new uniforms and will look amazing on the court. Lastly, we are looking to provide travel gear including backpacks.
