Help me give my students new reeds to make music by learning clarinet.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Wolff's classroom raised $265

My Project
My school is named after one of the most famous jazz musicians in American history. We recently became a performing arts magnet school! We are excited to provide students with the opportunity to learn an instrument to follow in Count Basie's footsteps.
As a new band program, we always need reeds, which need to be replaced frequently.
A clarinet cannot work without a good reed. Having extra reeds on hand will ensure that our students always have the equipment they need to learn and perform. Most of our students' families cannot afford to replace reeds themselves, so we must come together to provide them.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
