it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have taught Physical Education at our school for the past 10+ years. I am currently redesigning our physical education program to incorporate more student participation by building on communication, leadership and fun activities. Currently, we have been given a donation of equipment to help create this new atmosphere. My goal is to store and organize new equipment to help pique the interest of students participating in the newly designed Physical Education Program.
I am looking to purchase storage racks and bins to make access to equipment user friendly, easily accessible and available for students and faculty.
My Project
I am looking to purchase storage racks and bins to make our new equipment closet and use of new equipment user-friendly, easily accessible and available to students and faculty. By donating you will be giving a non-athletic student the opportunity to select an activity they will participate in during class. Giving students the opportunity to choose allows that student to create their own learning environment, build communication, develop leadership and team building. These students lack the skills to the technology that surrounds them. Making choices allows them to experience a new outlet of moving, communicating and socializing. This organization will also teach respect to equipment, organization, and ability to be responsible to other people's belongings.
