Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
What I love most about my students is their enthusiasm and drive—they’re always ready to jump in, work together, and give their best effort. Whether we’re learning in the classroom or on the playground, they show up with curiosity, energy, and big hearts. That’s why I want to give them every opportunity to learn through movement and play.
With this project, I’m requesting all-purpose nets and basketballs—versatile tools that will allow us to introduce and explore a wide range of physical activities.
These resources are more than just sports equipment. They’re a way to teach teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, and perseverance.
The all-purpose nets will let us play soccer, team handball, hockey, and more—giving students the chance to try new sports and build their coordination and communication skills. The basketballs will support structured games and free play, helping students improve their motor skills, stay active, and learn the value of practice and collaboration.
By bringing these tools into our learning space, we’re creating a fun, inclusive environment where every child can grow stronger, more confident, and more connected to their peers. Thank you for helping us play, learn, and thrive together!
