it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students need the use of netbooks to read at their own individual reading level. Not one of us learned to crawl, walk, or read at the same time as everyone else. This logic holds true for the students in my classroom - each and every student is a treasure and learns/reads at their own rate.
My wonderful fourth grade students are a treasure to teach daily.
They come to school full of questions and wonder. I want to encourage this natural wonder and inquisition with netbooks. Unfortunately, my students do not come from affluent homes. My students are all underprivileged treasures. They all have the potential they just need the resources to ensure their reading success.
My Project
Netbooks will be used during center reading time while I teach a small group of students another group will be using the netbooks to access on-line reading programs. The use of the reading programs will ensure the reading success of these treasures. The students will be able to read at their level and skyrocket upward from there.
Netbooks will level the educational field for my students.
