This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Low-income. Homeless. High poverty. These are words that people often use to describe our scholars. However, the words people should concentrate on are high achievers, determined learners, and creative thinkers.
We are scholars who have a hunger to learn, a passion for knowledge, and a need to succeed.
We are looking to expand our critical-thinking skills, explore our creativity, and develop our talents for twenty-first-century learning. We are looking to develop our gifts and talents and need your help to do so.
My Project
My students would tremendously benefit from school supplies that would be readily available to them for each subject. With this, they can create projects, run interactive notebooks, and engage in review games and activities that they have learned.
With interactive notebooks, students take their note-taking and organization to the next level by gluing, cutting, pasting, and coloring relevant materials and notes.
Students will utilize this supplies for the majority of each week they are in class.
We are also requesting seat back organizers to help us have materials readily available to use. We would keep our essential supplies in these for easy access.
