My students are absolutely amazing. They come to school every day excited to learn and grow. Our school and team are a very special place; everyone is there for the same reason which is for the children.
My students come from all walks of life, but most of my students come from low-income households.
No matter what is going on in their lives, they all come to school with a smile on their faces and ready to learn. I want to give my students many opportunities they may not get at home.
My Project
I am asking for caddies, trays and Book Bins in a variety of colors. With these colorful new organizational supplies, our classroom will be more organized and run like a well oiled machine. Students will be able to choose supplies and books from the specific colored bins that are assigned for their reading group.
I can assign each reading group a specific color and those students will know exactly where their supplies are for our next activity or where to turn in their work.
Students will be able to keep themselves organized much easier.
Recently in our classroom with new CDC safety guidelines students are required to have their own supplies and not share with other students. With our new organization caddies, students will be able to quickly gather their supplies and books needed for our next reading group! This new organization will make our classroom more enjoyable for my second graders.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
