This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Before shutting down for the pandemic, our theatre program was just beginning to gain momentum. Then COVID hit and reversed years of progress made to build up a program at our school.
Our theatre department is now back and stronger than ever, and if we want to continue to produce engaging productions, we need the right technology to make it happen.
The students who enjoy acting in the productions often already have the tools that they need. For the kids who work backstage, it is hard to mimic real theatrical experiences without the proper tools. This work engages so many students who would have not otherwise had this artistic outlet and space to call their own.
Having a communication headset system will allow students to take more ownership and ultimately increase engagement in school plays and productions. The other products will help with design by maintaining a space that fosters imagination and creative development. We are so thrilled to be back on stage, now help us make more things possible behind the scenes!
