My Project
One thing that many of us take advantage of during the school year is access to food, hydration, and personal hygiene products. However, working in a traditionally underfunded school means that I am encountering numerous students whose needs are not being met.
It is not uncommon for my students to come to school with basic needs unmet.
While I am unable to control what happens outside the building, this project will ensure that I am able to care for my students when they are with me. My hope is to utilize the supplies to help students feel secure, cared for, and ready to learn.
