My Students
My students are gifted high school musicians. They travel from all over the city to study their crafts as well as a challenging academic schedule. How they manage it all - travel, classes, keeping up with their craft , academic homework etc- is always impressive.
Their energy and motivation sparks us and inspires us to always give our best and we are repaid with their great accomplishments.
My Project
My teaching requires the immediate need to print materials from textbooks and online sources as well as letter and documents. Unfortunately, school resources do not allow us to have reliable access to printers and as a result, the students as well as my professional needs are held .
At this time, we have two office printers that are either missing toner or are extremely slow, and needed by a faculty of 20 people.
This effects my work which relies on copied materials. To compensate ,I wait to get home and make copies from my home printer. Obviously as a professional, I need better.
