This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a school counselor, I always have students ask me for feminine products and lots of questions about their period. This project aims to have a stock of period supplies (pads and tampons) and other items, such as the heating pads and literature, for students that start their period or need these products. In addition, when they ask questions I can have a thorough conversation with the about their period. It is my hope that by having these supplies accessible to all students, students can focus on their education and learning in the classroom rather than struggling to take care of their basic needs.
