it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach 25 first grade students from diverse backgrounds.
Our wonderful school is located in sunny Southern California.
My students range from gifted and talented to below grade level. We are proud to be a Nationally Recognized School of Excellence and have won many prestigious awards. Since we are not a Title I School, funding extra projects is very difficult. We need basic classroom supplies such as scissors, staplers, and labels to complete assignments. We also need folders to store finished and unfinished work inside student's desks.
My Project
We need basic office supplies to enhance productivity in our classroom. Our scissors are old and dull. We need sharp, new scissors to make craftivities, science projects, and to complete cut and paste reading and math assignments. I am also requesting Avery labels to make sticker labels for special assignments and to label cubbies, coat racks, homework folders and take home projects. I would like to use pocket folders to store our morning work and unfinished work inside students desks. Finally, I am requesting a regular stapler and a long reach stapler to put together student work. I would also use the stapler to display writing and science projects in our room.
