Needed! Chairs and Desks to Keep Our Minds Focused!

Help me give my students active seating, supplies to keep noses dry and desks clean, and art supplies to calm our brains after rigorous assignments.

My Project

This is a project to help my Special Education Social Studies Classroom be an environment students want to be. The long hour and a half class period can be torcher for high school students with ADHD. These kids need to move, stand, bounce and swivel. The chairs and standing desks will help keep these kids on the move. The more students are focused the more they will learn and also their peers will be less distracted by outbursts and other ways student sometime cope with sitting too long. Having the opportunity sit on a swivel stool or stand at a desk will help the classroom as a whole. Students with special needs should not be made to sit in one place for 4 blocks of 90 minutes. This sets kids up for failure. My desire is that all students who enter my classroom learn as much as possible and become a better citizen in our classroom, school, community, and country.
