My Project
I am an occupational therapist working with kids with Autism in an elementary school in Brooklyn. I could use more sensory regulation and adaptive supports to help my kids focus and stay on task. Weighted compression vests, brushes (for the body), weighted lap supports, wobble chair feet, writing/hand support, etc. will be so appreciated to help these kiddos excel, and with your support, help meet their sensory needs so they can reach their optimum level of performance. I will train the teachers and paraprofessionals on how to use the equipment.
