Hello! I teach first grade in Brooklyn, NY to a delightful and diverse group of children.
Every year as part of our writing curriculum, we do an "Author Study." The children learn about the chosen author's writing techniques and use these in their own writing. My favorite author to use for this study is Jonathan London. He writes a series of books about a mischievous Frog. The kids just love these books! They have literally loved them to the point of destruction! Missing pages! Torn pages! Mysterious stains on pages!
I would like to have a collection of durable, hard cover Froggy books to use for our writing unit. These will withstand the test of time with enthusiastic 6 year olds better than my paperback copies!
