My Students

There has been an increasing demand for students to use more technology in the classroom. In Language Arts, we are constantly participating in the writing process and use technology to help us. Students are often asked to type and print their work, but our equipment are not reliable.

I teach five periods of ninth grade Language Arts with a total of one-hundred and forty students.

The school and my classes are diverse in every sense of the word. The students come from various cultures, socioeconomic statuses, and learning backgrounds.

My Project

Printing our work in the classroom has become quite a challenge for my students. Because they participate in the entire writing process for their essays or writing projects, students need to constantly print their work to genuinely draft, revise, edit, and publish. With your support, my students will have access to a reliable printer and a way to save their writing, so they can work on it at home.

The donations will immensely help my classroom and my students.

The updated printer will provide my students with reliable equipment to print their papers. The flash drives will also help. Students who don't have the means to buy one themselves will be able to borrow a flash drive to work on their paper at home and keep up with the fast pace work in school.
