My Students
My students come from low-income areas and low socioeconomic backgrounds. One hundred percent qualify for free breakfast and lunch. We lack many everyday school supplies, and many of the parents cannot afford to buy their children pencils, folders, and other essential supplies for school.
Many of my students come from low-income households.
Eighty-five percent of the students are English Language Learners, so many do not receive much help at home due to language. The teachers at our school are mentors to the children. We want all our students to succeed. The school provides a caring and warm environment to learn.
My Project
Students need a backpack holder to keep their backpacks safe from being ripped, stepped on or destroyed. Many of my student's parents are not able to afford to buy a new backpack. I want to keep their backpacks safe from any damage. Also, having this backpack organizer will help students from tripping over backpacks that are on the ground.
This donation will help my students and me from tripping over backpacks.
It will also help my students to keep their backpacks safe from being damaged. I want an organized and safe learning environment for all my students. We will truly be grateful to receive this cart to help keep backpacks safe and in on spot.
