My students need ink for printing their hard work and projects. Displaying their beautiful work makes them feel proud, accomplished, and motivated to do more!
Children today, all ages, are motivated by technology. They enjoy creating and completing their work on computers. However, public schools are faced with the endless challenge of supply and demand on an infinitesimal budget. Supplying ink is not a top priority for learning, which leaves us dry
My students present with moderate-severe social, emotional, and/or behavioral difficulties, most with additional cognitive limitations that impact their learning across all academic and non-curricular material, and most from lower socioeconomic backgrounds.
Our public school is specialized in providing the appropriate recipe of nurture, supports, and structure to both students and their families, hardly having monetary freedom for supplies like printer ink.
My Project
Our students are hard-working but easily discouraged with our dispensable supply of ink for printing. They really enjoy learning and working on a computer and subsequently crave their labor colorfully displayed and complimented on the walls of their classrooms and hallways.
I enjoy making language learning materials that are enriched through multi-modal supports, including colorful visuals, but time and money impacts my production per week given a caseload of 50 students. Ink allows me to quickly print out materials that support students who need the multi-sensory approach to facilitate their learning.
Please help fuel our learning!
Imagine if your learning experience always had to revolve around paper and pencil, when those around you are using fun and exciting technology to produce. We need a donor for some toner, please!
