My Students

We, on the West Hall of the building, have the opportunity to teach and work with predominately 11th-grade students. We always provide an engaging, learning classroom setting so that it promotes a desire to come to school. We have been faced with the challenge of teaching, instilling, motivating and cleaning more so than ever the last few years. We love that our students are working hard to stay masked up and safe throughout it all. Our students' needs vary. So, it can be a challenge to keep them all engaged consistently.

We characterize our students with some of these adjectives: Outgoing, amazing, Cheerful, Hilarious, Determined, Smart, Sweet, Energetic, Smiley, Promising, Shy, Easygoing, Curious and Friendly!

My Project

During these past 2 school years we have learned that we must stay abreast of the needs of our students. We are in the business of providing and this includes personal items a lot of times; in addition, to the PPE and personal supplies to survive at home and school.

We are charged with providing the environment that is indeed conducive to learning and thriving.

We are in it to win and we will do what is needed to make sure our students be at ease especially during these trying times.

The Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) materials I am requesting for some of our classrooms will aid in maintaining the safety of everyone in our classroom so that we can learn without hesitation. We want to assist with the purifying of the immediate air in the classroom due this Mississippi unpredictable weather some times by controlling the humidity inside. The disposable masks will be provided to students who may need to change their mask due to breaking or excessive moisture.
