My students need narrative nonfiction texts to support their nonfiction reading! Students have been completely absorbed in nonfiction books- and I need to supply more!
My students are extremely special because they come to school every day with smiles and a willingness to learn. I am determined to provide a school environment full of love and engaging lessons with materials to match, and even exceed, their needs.
My classroom is a place of challenge and discovery where students are excited to learn.
Students spend this year in my class learning the foundation of knowledge and skills they will need as they move forward in their education as well as learning about themselves as lifelong learners.
My Project
I am requesting these narrative nonfiction titles to add to my classroom library for use with my reading units of study. My students have been completely absorbed in their reading. Daily, their stamina and passion for reading impresses me. With each new unit I teach, I find myself looking for more books to meet the volume these students need.
With the study of nonfiction, I have seen students' passion extend from familiar topics to new ones.
These books will help me and students because these narrative nonfiction books will live in our classroom where we can consistently have access and refer back to them throughout the year.
