Neat & Seats

Help me give my students an organized, flexible seating classroom. Stools help promote better posture and can neatly fit under a large table to maximize space. I have many books, but need an organizer to contain them.

My Students

I love that each school year I get a group of new students to teach. Every year that is 25 new students whom I get to spend my day with and learn about.

My students come from a middle class New Jersey suburban community.

After school and on the weekends you can find them engaged in multiple extra curricular activities and sports such as scouts, gymnastics, baseball, soccer, and dance. They are loving and caring individuals who respect each other.

Each child has their own personality, smile, laugh, and quirks. They cheerfully enter the classroom each morning leaving their mothers, fathers, siblings, pets and stuffed animals behind and trust you with their day.

With each new school year brings new faces, new passions, various strengths, and challenges. I love that my students make every day different, unique and special; just like themselves.

I love my students just as much as I love my own children because they are essentially like family- you spend just as much time with daily.

My Project

My classroom is tiny, so I had to be creative in order to come up with a better way to utilize our space and to incorporate more flexible seating options.

I think my students would benefit from having stools at one table because they not only promote better posture, but can easily slide under a large table when not in use.

My students would love to use the stools at a table to switch up from bulky chairs and allow other seating options so they can be comfortable and focus better.

I also have many great books, but am running out of room to keep them neat and organized. My students would benefit by having another bookshelf so they can easily locate books in the divided sections.

I have a great group of students and have been teaching for 16 years. Over time our furniture and supplies need to be replaced due to wear and tear. Please consider donating.
