My Students

My students are creative, thoughtful, and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box.

I teach at a Title I school that is full of cultural diversity.

I teach second grade to high energy, loving students. They are excited to walk into school every day and grateful for the opportunity to get an education.

They are fearless when it comes to technology and, as children of the 21st century, they need to be prepared to use a variety of tools to engage their world.

My Project

Nearpod is an award-winning student engagement platform that’s works with any classroom technology. It has interactive lessons, games, videos, and assessments. Nearpod is built for distance learning, hybrid, and school-based setting. With Nearpod students are excited and become active participants in the lessons, which then helps them learn more! This will make a difference in student learning because the lessons are interactive. For example they can show their work on slides, click on videos, do matching activities, and type to explain their thinking. My kids will love learning with Nearpod!
