My Students
My students come from various socio-economic, race, religious, and cultural backgrounds. They are bright-eyed and excited about learning. My students love learning and engaging in meaningful activities.
Our classroom fosters a love for learning through different experiences.
Many students do not have the background knowledge that you would expect a child their age to have. I try to provide students with experiences that will impact their lives not only while they are in my classroom but, that they can take with them throughout their lives.
My Project
In my classroom this year, we have been using the free version of Nearpod in our lessons and my students have fallen in love. They come in excited and ready to learn when they know it's a Nearpod day.
This resource can be used for ALL subjects including digital citizenship, as well as virtual field trips.
With a gold membership, I will have access to all Nearpod lessons without any additional cost. With this access I will be able to allow students to interact with the lessons at their own pace and demonstrate what they have learned by completing interactive activities. Some of these interactive activities include matching, fill in the blank, and even drawing examples of content knowledge!
