My Students

I am proud to say that my school provides whatever it takes to meet student needs, but sometimes the cost can get in the way. This is why we need some additional technology for my classroom. By the end of the school year, I want my students to be comfortable using technology and be ready for 4th grade.

My students are hard workers who try their best in every subject.

They come in with a smile on their faces and are ready to learn. My school is focused on meeting the needs of all students, and all the teachers try everything they can to achieve this goal. Some students learn best with a little help from technology. Tools such as iPads, Chromebooks, gaming systems, and Makerspace items can help students read with apps and programs that can help them along the way.

My Project

Nearpod is a student engagement platform that can be used to amazing effect in the classroom. The concept is simple. A teacher can create presentations that can contain Quiz's, Polls, Videos, Images, Drawing-Boards, Web Content and so on. The children can access a teacher's presentation through a code.

We have been using the free version of Nearpod for a while now and I am excited to explore the gold version and give more options for my students during the day.
