Help me give my students the opportunity to feel like they are in a special classroom. Due to Covid 19, class sizes need to be very small, supplies limited. We would love to have our own globe!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach fourth grade in a UFT Title 1 school in Brooklyn, NY. My students are smart, creative and they love to learn. This year, I am teaching two groups of fourth grade students that will be learning from home.
More than anything, these students would like to be back in the classroom, but for now, we all need to remain safe and healthy.
This will certainly be a challenge for myself, students, and parents, but we always work together as a team and we will be successful!
My Project
These materials will help my students function in a classroom that we just recently set up for in-person learning. We had to split basic supplies with the other fourth grade class, so we would like some of our own.
The globe would help us with social studies instruction and the organization materials will make it so much easier for centers to take place.
We have limited board space, so the magnets would be super handy. We also need to travel safely, 6 feet apart, so we will need hall passes.
