My Students

My students come from all over the world! We are fortunate to be in shadow's distance to a major university which provides us the opportunity for our students to learn alongside a very international and diverse group of friends. It also means that we have an ever changing level of abilities and expectations within our classroom walls. A typical day in my classroom involves a lot of movement and discussion. We are an active group and are constantly exploring the curriculum through experimentation and personal interaction with the world!

My Project

My classroom is themed as a Treehouse. In addition to this, I have a lot of nature comforts. I try to bring in as many real nature objects as possible. The addition of these, pillows and rugs will help in promoting my classroom theme.

My goal is to give students that feel as if they are out in the woods or a treehouse reading a book.

These pillows and rugs will help to give my students that feeling while giving them freedom of movement in the classroom. Having tree slice pillows and rugs would give my students the feel of being out in the woods without leaving the classroom.
